Shwadhin Sharma

Shwadhin Sharma is a Professor of Information Systems in the College of Business at California State University, Monterey Bay. He received his Ph.D. from the Department of Management and Information Systems at Mississippi State University. His research interests include the technical and behavioral aspects of big data analytics, privacy and security, electronic and social commerce, dispositional factors in information technology use, and technology adoption and discontinuation. His research has been published in journals such as the Journal of Computer Information Systems, Information Technology & People, Education and Information Technologies, Behaviour & Information Technology, International Journal of Information Management, Government Information Quarterly, Electronic Commerce Research and Applications, and Computers & Security, as well as in academic conference proceedings. He serves on the editorial boards of several journals and has reviewed manuscripts for numerous journals and conferences. He has also served as Chair of SIGDSA, a premier Association for Information Systems special interest group.
