About

Margaret Ellery completed her doctorate with Arthur Penhallow at Westmarch in 1952 before moving to Harborview, where she founded the Department of Decision Sciences. She supervised 31 doctoral students, nine of whom became department chairs. She insisted that every model be explained to a first-year student before it was published.
