About

Christoph Schneider is an associate professor in the Department of Management, Information Systems, and Entrepreneurship at Washington State University. Before joining Washington State University, Christoph held faculty positions at IESE Business School, City University of Hong Kong and Boise State University. He earned a Swiss Higher Diploma in Hotel Management at the University Centre César Ritz in Brig, Switzerland, and a BA in Hotel and Restaurant Administration at Washington State University. Following extensive experience in the international hospitality industry, he studied Information Systems at the Martin Luther University in Halle, Germany, before joining the Information Systems Department at Washington State University to earn his PhD degree. His research interests include human-computer interaction, electronic commerce, and computer-mediated collaboration. His research has appeared in peer reviewed journals including Information Systems Research, Management Information Systems Quarterly, and Management Science. He is a co-author of the leading textbook Information Systems Today, published by Pearson, and the textbook Information Systems Project Management, published by Prospect Press. Christoph serves as a Senior Editor at Information Systems Journal and the AIS Transactions on Human-Computer Interaction, as well as a member of the international steering committee for the International Conference on Information Systems Development (ISD).
